SpaceX is seeking a Propulsion Engineer (Raptor Test) to lead test campaigns for Raptor engines and components. You will design and execute tests, review data, and guide technicians to fabricate and assemble test articles and stand equipment.

Collaborate with design teams to improve test hardware and ensure robust flight readiness. You will work with DAQ systems, cryogenic fluids, high-pressure systems, and process automation in a fast-paced environment aimed at Mars capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or physics.
• 1+ years of hands-on testing experience (internships, clubs or other hands-on activities qualify).

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute tests at engine and component level to evaluate hardware performance and survivability during the mission.
• Own test campaigns from plan creation to data review and stand equipment design/fabrication.
• Provide daily direction to technicians for fabricating test articles and stand equipment.
• Develop and maintain test procedures, sequences, scripts, and software.
• Operate and troubleshoot DAQ systems, wiring, and instrumentation (NI-based).
• Operate mechanical and fluid systems including cryogenics and high pressure systems.
• Automate repetitive test operations to improve efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with design engineers to improve test stands and flight hardware.
