Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or astronautical engineering.
• 4+ years of experience working with rocket or jet engine hardware or high-pressure fluid systems in a design, analysis, or experimental capacity.

Responsibilities

• Own combustor hardware design and production for flight-ready engine hardware.
• Identify and drive design changes for reliability, simplification, and performance.
• Develop combustor design from concept through testing and production.
• Coordinate a team and collaborate with engineers to meet engine requirements.
• Develop test requirements and participate in testing early in lifecycle.
• Analyze data from test and flight; iterate to improve designs and make go/no-go decisions.
