Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Raptor final assembly and Tube Shop to oversee build and test processes and drive high-volume production efficiency. You will develop and qualify assembly methods, work with design teams to streamline standards, and lead root-cause analysis for issues on the floor.

The role requires a degree in mechanical/aerospace/manufacturing engineering and at least 1 year of related experience, with familiarity in NX CAD and GD&T preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering.
• 1+ years of mechanical design and manufacturing experience from industry or collegiate projects such as Formula SAE, Baja SAE, or Design Build Fly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee build and test processes for the Raptor final assembly & Tube Shop production area.
• Develop, qualify, and refine assembly processes for high-volume engine production.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive efficient production on schedule.
