Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Propulsion Technician (Raptor Avionics) to fabricate, assemble, and test flight harnesses and avionics subassemblies with a focus on precision and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with hand tools and precision assembly.
• Ability to read work instructions and follow processes.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or similar sectors is a plus.
• Experience with ERP/shop floor management systems is beneficial.
• A&P license is preferred and highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate electromechanical and harnessing hardware for flight using precision assembly.
• Perform ATP testing and document results clearly.
• Record work performed in the ERP system and meet area benchmarks.
• Assist with NPIs and continuous improvement projects.
• Work with engineering to troubleshoot production issues and enable high-volume production.
• Maintain safety and quality standards across shifts.
