Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Additive Technician (Raptor) on the 2nd shift to support printer setup and post-print processing of metal powder bed fusion parts for the Raptor Engine. The role requires meticulous workmanship, safety, and the ability to follow procedures with high quality.

You'll operate AM printers, support post-processing, and collaborate with engineers to improve processes while maintaining a clean workspace and meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience with hardware assembly and operating complex machinery.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and turnover additive manufacturing printers per procedures.
• Support post printing operations: powder removal, support removal, inspections.
• Ensure safety and defect-free hardware through validated procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and meet specifications.
• Develop and implement efficiency improvement projects.
• Assist engineers with development build-ups or tear-downs.
• Operate post-processing equipment as needed.
