Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a Quick Turn Program Manager for swing shifts in Santa Clara, CA. The role focuses on accelerating execution with cross-functional teams to ensure rapid, high-quality NPI and production launches.

You will lead readiness, drive improvements, and manage multiple builds across local and global contract manufacturers while maintaining tight schedules and clear communication with BPM and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Contract Manufacturing or Production planning.
• Bachelor of Science in Operations, Manufacturing Management, Logistics or related fields.
• Must work independently in a fast paced environment.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, problem solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent English reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Responsibilities

• Drive SOL execution at CM to deliver zero defects for NPI boards and systems assemblies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support QT and MP products.
• Champion continuous improvement at CM to reduce waste.
• Lead CM readiness and production ramp or new product launches.
• Coordinate resources, establish schedules, and manage multiple builds locally and overseas.
• Attend daily WIP calls and provide status updates to BPM or requestors.
• Initiate SCARs, coordinate ECOs, and track shipments and BOM updates.
• Conduct Run Readiness Reviews and manage control run builds with test coordination.
• Identify risks, drive resolution options with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain asset/equipment lists and support 8D/QM meetings.
