Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a Quick Turn Program Manager to drive Speed of Light execution with contract manufacturers for NPI boards and systems assemblies. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage QT/MP builds locally and overseas, and champion waste reduction through continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing/production planning, a science degree in Operations/Manufacturing/Logistics, and strong leadership and PM skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Contract Manufacturing or Production planning in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor of Science in Operations, Manufacturing Management, Logistics or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to function independently in a multifaceted and fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, problem solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
• APICS, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing certifications are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Drive SOL execution at Contract Manufacturers to deliver zero defects for NPI boards and systems assemblies.
• Champion continuous improvement at CM to reduce waste.
• Lead CM readiness for production ramp or new product launch and improve daily going rate (DGR).
• Coordinate resources, establish schedules, and manage QT/MP/Rework/RMA builds locally and overseas.
• Attend daily WIP calls and provide status updates to BPM or requestors.
• Create and manage SCARs, review 8D, and monitor critical shipments.
