Job summary

Linktree is seeking a Social Video Editor to produce platform-native videos at social speed. You will own the edit end-to-end, transform UGC into polished content, and create distinct variations for testing across Reels, Shorts, YouTube, and more.

You’ll ensure fast production, high-quality exports, and strong hooks that drive retention across channels. Bring 3–5 years of editing social video, a portfolio across major platforms, and expert use of Premiere Pro, CapCut, and After Effects.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years editing social or digital video for brands, agencies, publishers, creators, or personal channels.
• Portfolio showing platform-native work across Reels, Shorts, TikTok, YouTube, or similar formats.
• Expert-level editing tools knowledge and ability to craft native, test-ready content.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end editing process from concept to final delivery.
• Create platform-native cuts for Reels, Shorts, YouTube, and other surfaces.
• Develop hooks, retention drivers, and test variants across channels.
• Shape social-first narratives with clear, compelling storytelling.
• Produce high-volume edits, multiple aspect ratios, and variants efficiently.
• Create lightweight motion graphics, titles, subtitles, and visuals.
• Ensure exports meet brand, accessibility, and technical standards.
• Manage feedback, assets, and version control in a high-volume pipeline.
• Collaborate with channel managers to test approaches and apply learnings.
