RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Rapid Response Team Admit Education Nurse for the Nursing Supervisors Department at Monmouth Medical Center. This salaried night-shift role focuses on rapid assessment, stabilization, and staff education in non-critical areas, coordinating with physicians.

Requires an ASN or Nursing Diploma, at least 2 years in CCU/ICU/ED, NJ RN license, BLS and ACLS. Preferred: BSN and CCN certification; PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Critical Care Nursing ICU or ED.
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License; BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and CCN certification; Pediatric ALS (PALS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and stabilize patient conditions in non-critical areas as part of the Rapid Response Team.
• Coordinate information for physician communication and ensure appropriate documentation.
• Serve as educator across medical-surgical units and coordinate competencies.
• Identify safety issues and participate in code events when available.

Pay Range: $87,796.80 - $118,104.48 per year

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated RRT Admit Education Nurse for the Nursing Supervisors Department, at Monmouth Medical Center.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• Minimum 2 years experience in Critical Care Nursing ICU or ED
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

Certifications and Licenses Required

• BLS and ACLS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

Preferred

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS
• Bachelor s Degree in Nursing and Critical Care Nurse Certification

Scheduling Requirements

• Night shift, 36 hours per week

Essential Functions

• As a member of the Rapid Response Team RRT the RRT Nurse will focus on specific situations in non-critical care areas
• These situations will have complex clinical issues and require immediate attention and clinical expertise
• The RRT nurse will assist the staff member in assessing and stabilizing the patient's condition, as well as organizing information to be communicated to the patients physician
• The RRT nurse will be responsible for data and reports
• The RRT nurses collectively will serve as educators over the medical surgical units as determined by director
• Other responsibilities of the RRT nurse are to serve as a resource to staff, coordinate annual and ongoing competencies, assist with code SMARTs code Strokes, and code Blues when available
• The RRT nurses is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments damaged floors walls ceiling tiles unsecured areas and medical errors etc.
