Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse per Michigan Board of Nursing, required within 2 months of hire date.
• BLS Provider (AHA) certification required within 3 months of hire date.
• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary plan of care to ensure appropriate discharge planning and outcomes.
• Provide patient education and support to reduce fears and anxiety.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy; perform dressings and glucose monitoring.
• Monitor patient responses and intervene for acute changes in condition.
• Collaborate with case managers for seamless discharge planning and follow-up.
