Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Rapid Response team covering 24-hour Midnight shifts. The role focuses on rapid assessment, emergent response, and collaboration with ICU and Cath Lab teams.

Responsibilities include participating in rapid response, assisting with emergent cath lab procedures, and supporting ED-to-ICU patient transport alongside the ICU team. The position requires MI nursing licensure and ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current State of Michigan License.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
• Interventional Cardiac Catheterization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist emergent cardiac catheterization on the off shift, weekends and holidays.
• Respond to the ED for emergent Cath lab patients and prepare the patient for Cath lab procedures.
• Assist with femoral artery sheath removal after cardiac procedures.
• Respond to Code Blues and Rapid Response calls as required.
• Support MICU RN caring for post-cath patients when available.
• Transport ED patients to ICUs and GPUs, and transport ICU patients for tests/procedures.
