UCI Health is seeking a Rapid Response Team (RRT) Registered Nurse to coordinate Code Blue and rapid response assessments and to respond to Code Stroke calls. You will facilitate urgent nursing care, perform advanced interventions, and support physicians and staff as a clinical resource.

Qualified candidates hold a CA RN license with BLS and ACLS, CCRN or TCRN, and have 5+ years ICU/ED and 2+ years acute care experience.

Formación

• Must hold a current California RN license and maintain it
• Must hold a current BLS certification and maintain it
• Must hold a current ACLS certification and maintain it
• CCRN or TCRN credentials required upon hire and maintained
• Minimum 5 years of ICU or ED nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate Code Blue and Rapid Response Team assessments and patient prioritization.
• Respond to rapid response and Code Stroke calls; ensure timely nursing care.
• Perform advanced nursing interventions and diagnostics (Point of Care Ultrasounds, ABGs).
• Act as clinical resource for physicians and staff; contribute to practice guidelines and education.
• Evaluate patient scores for deterioration and participate in surveillance rounds.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and documentation standards.

ICU/ED experience (5+ yrs)

Acute care experience (2+ yrs)

Educación

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or above
