Job summary

Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to respond to Rapid Response and Code Blue calls and assist in transporting critical care patients between units. The role includes supporting admissions across IPD areas and assisting with ICU bedside procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree and Michigan RN license, with a minimum of 2 years ICU experience, and current BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current State of Michigan License is required.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification, required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Rapid Response call and Code Blue calls.
• Assist with transport of critical care patients between units (ED to ICUs, GPUs to ICUs) and accompany ICU patients for tests/procedures.
• Assist with admissions in all IPD areas and with ICU bedside procedures.
• Assist with difficult IV starts and blood draws.
