Job summary

Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital in Southfield, MI seeks a full-time RN for Rapid Response coverage, with 2+ years ICU experience. Expect 3–12 hour night shifts (7pm–7:30am), every other weekend, rotating holidays, and benefit eligibility.

Required credentials include Michigan RN license, BLS and ACLS. Responsibilities include responding to critical calls, transporting critical patients, and assisting with ICU procedures and admissions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current State of Michigan License is required.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification, required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Rapid Response call and Code Blue calls.
• Assist in transport of critical care patients from ED to ICUs or GPUs to ICUs.
• Accompany ICU patients to tests/procedures and assist with IV starts, blood draws, admissions, and bedside procedures.

Job duties will include responding to Rapid Response call and Code Blue calls. When available, will also assist in transport of critical care patients from the ED to the ICUs or GPUs to ICUs, as well as accompanying ICU patients off the unit to tests/procedures. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting with difficult IV starts/blood draws, assisting with admissions in all IPD areas, and assisting with ICU bedside procedures.
