Job summary

UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO seeks a full-time Transport Paramedic to provide direct patient care during air and ground critical care transport. This onsite role requires NREMT/EMT-P, FP-C, and 3+ years of paramedic experience, with BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP and TPATC/ITLS certifications.

Pay ranges from $27.61 to $41.41 per hour, reflecting experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• NREMT and Colorado EMT-P certification at hire; FP-C.
• Valid driver's license; required state licenses within six months.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and TPATC/ITLS or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of paramedic experience.
• BLS CPR card valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care during all phases of transport from initial contact until care is relinquished to accepting facility.
• Documents patient assessment, interventions, response to therapy, changes in condition; participates in pre/post transport briefings and follow-up with referral agencies.
• Ensures equipment is in working order; completes vehicle/equipment checklists.
• Collaborates across disciplines to improve outcomes; provides safety and clinical education to referring facilities and EMS agencies.
• Within job scope, demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgement and ability to work with minimal supervision in fast-paced environments.
