SYNERGY Home Care of Cape Fear is seeking a dependable on-call Rapid Response Care Professional to fill last-minute client coverage and on-call shifts in the Cape Fear area. You will provide companionship, assist with light tasks, and coordinate with families to ensure seamless care continuity.

This role offers on-call stipends plus an hourly rate when activated for shifts, with overtime opportunities. Training is provided, and candidates must be 18+ with reliable transportation and the ability

• Provide attention to the client's non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders as needed.
• Establish and maintain professional communication with clients, family members, and co-workers.
• Ensure reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts.

Overview

The Rapid Response Care Professional is an on-call team member responsible for supporting urgent and last-minute client coverage needs. This role ensures continuity of care by filling schedule gaps due to call-offs, emergencies, or unexpected changes.

Team members are scheduled for designated on-call periods and receive a flat-rate stipend for availability, along with an hourly rate when activated to work a shift. Assignments may vary and require flexibility, quick response times, and the ability to adapt to different clients and care environments.

This role is ideal for dependable, experienced caregivers who are responsive, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high-quality care in time-sensitive situations.

Qualifications:

• Ages 18+

• No experience is required. Willing to train the right candidate.

• Must be able to pass a background check
