Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a Licensed Crisis Clinician to provide rapid behavioral health crisis assessments and interventions in a community hospital setting.

You will conduct suicide and risk assessments, develop individualized safety plans, deliver short-term, evidence-based counseling, coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team, and connect patients and families to community resources while documenting care within the EHR.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician with competence in behavioral health crisis evaluation and intervention
• Strong assessment, risk determination, and de-escalation skills
• Ability to create effective safety plans and provide brief evidence-based therapy
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct suicide and other risk assessments and provide crisis intervention
• Develop and implement individualized safety plans
• Deliver short-term, evidence-based counseling and brief interventions
• Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team
• Link patients and families to appropriate community resources
• Document clinical findings and care activities in the EHR
