Job summary

GEMAIRE in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a Rapid Regional Support Associate to travel to regional branches providing branch support (counter and warehouse) while driving strong sales and service. You will help supervise and train staff, coordinate with internal and external teams, and contribute to daily operations.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional overtime; the role emphasizes safety, customer relations, and teamwork within a dynamic HVAC distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in HVAC, customer service, warehousing/distribution or retail.
• Knowledge of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level preferred.
• Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service.
• Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service.
• Ability to work independently, but meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
• A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
• Must have a clean driving record for at least the past 3 years.
• 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16’ minimum box truck, or stake bed truck.

Responsibilities

• Represent GEMAIRE as a leader in the industry ensuring maximum sales.
• Travel to branches assigned by the Area Operations Manager for specific assignments and/or general branch support (counter and warehouse)
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external sales personnel, vendors, and contractors
• Support branch staffing needs as directed by the Area Operations Manager (counter and warehouse)
• Identify and address training opportunities related to safety, procedures, and workflow
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Share best practices across the region to improve team efficiency and effectiveness in daily tasks
• Support training and development of team members to elevate branch standards
• Assist with resolution of customer relationship issues involving dealers and end users
• Pick, receive, and stock product accurately and properly; lead by example
• Provide observations and recommendations from branch visits to the Area Operations Manager to strengthen the division team
• Complete sales order processing for customers, including upselling associated items
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Possess a clean driving record:
• No more than one moving violation in any one year period.
• No more than one preventable accident in any two year period.
• No restrictions, suspensions or DUI convictions in the past 3 years.
• Ability to pass DOT physical examination requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred. Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably in the HVAC industry.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday. This position may require working extra hours on occasion.
