Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a dynamic Casting Lab Operations Lead for the Rapid Prototype Casting Laboratory (RPCL) to develop and manufacture advanced turbine engine castings. You will steer the operations team, set priorities, and drive lean, safety, and quality improvements to meet demanding schedules.

The role is onsite in the RPCL, requiring a Bachelor’s in operations/engineering with 10+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 7+ years.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 7+ years.
U.S. Citizenship required for access to program/contract.

Responsibilities

Lead RPCL operations team including shop supervisor, master scheduler, operations engineer, and union staff.
Establish and recruit to headcount targets to meet capacity.
Set operations schedules considering customer requirements and resource availability.
Manage projects and capital equipment installations; drive continuous improvement and EH&S.
Develop standardized operating practices and tools for the operations cells.
Manage time accounting to meet program cost targets and budgets.
