Job summary

Center For Family Services in Passaic County, NJ is seeking a Crisis Intervention Specialist for the Mobile Response program. This full-time role provides 24/7 crisis support, rapid response, and coordination of services to youth up to 21 years old.

You will maintain documentation, develop crisis plans, participate in meetings, and partner with schools and families to connect to ongoing supports. A bachelor's or master's in behavioral health is required, with strong communication, writing, and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's in behavioral health or related field.
  • Experience with community relations and crisis intervention.
  • Energetic, creative, and able to work as part of a community resource team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and assessment skills.
  • Excellent writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with MRSS funding source, contract and program's Annex A.
  • Complete required documentation within established timeframes per regulations.
  • Maintain a caseload as per program requirements.
  • Collaboratively develop youth's Individualized Crisis Plans.
  • Provide 24/7 emergency crisis response on a rotation basis.
  • Respond to crisis calls within 1 hour and provide crisis intervention.
  • Provide case management services coordinating services to meet youth/family needs.
  • Attend school meetings and court hearings as needed.
  • Assist team leads in training in field and office.
  • Develop a transition plan with families and ensure linkage to ongoing support.
  • Attend supervision and required meetings; complete paperwork timely.
  • Coordinate collateral meetings and maintain weekly communication.
  • Document all contact within 24 hours in EHR CYBER/Awards.
  • Complete trainings through CFS and CSOC; maintain CAT certification.
