Job summary

Center For Family Services seeks a Crisis Intervention Specialist for its Passaic Mobile Response team. The role entails providing 24/7 crisis intervention, case management, documentation, and participation in meetings to support youth under 21 and their families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in behavioral health or related field.
• Experience in crisis intervention and community relations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and assessment skills.
• Excellent writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Comply with MRSS funding source, contract and program's Annex A.
• Complete required documentation within established timeframes.
• Maintain a caseload as per program requirements.
• Develop youth's Individualized Crisis Plans.
• Provide 24/7 emergency crisis response on a rotation basis.
• Respond to crisis calls within 1 hour and provide crisis intervention.
• Coordinate services to meet youth and family needs.
• Attend school meetings and court hearings as needed.
• Assist team leads in training in field and office.
• Develop transition plans with families for termination and linkage to ongoing support.
• Participate in supervision and required meetings.
• Complete paperwork timely and professionally.
• Coordinate collateral meetings and maintain weekly communication.
• Document all contact within 24 hours in EHR CYBER/Awards.
• Complete trainings through CFS and CSOC.
• Maintain yearly CAT certification
