Job summary

Loews Miami Beach Hotel in South Beach is hiring a Restaurant Food Runner to deliver meals promptly from kitchen to guests and maintain a polished dining experience. You will support servers, ensure order accuracy and proper presentation, and help with clearing and resetting tables during service.

The role emphasizes fast-paced teamwork, guest-focused service, and reliability, with opportunities within a premier oceanfront resort.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and navigate crowded spaces.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: prior restaurant or hospitality experience.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in an efficient, organized manner.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and proper presentation before delivery.
• Communicate course timing, modifications, and special requests to servers.
• Assist in clearing and resetting tables between courses or after guests leave.
• Support servers by restocking plates, silverware, and service items.
• Maintain cleanliness of expo lines, food stations, and service areas.
• Assist with running beverages as needed.
• Answer basic guest questions or direct them to servers.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
