Job summary

Antelope Hills Golf Course, part of Troon, seeks a Part-Time Ranger in Prescott, AZ. You will welcome guests, assist golfers, manage tee times, and support operations at the driving range. A strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and good communication are essential for success in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

You will interact with the Golf Shop, Bag Drop, and guests, helping ensure an enjoyable experience while maintaining course safety and policies. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and speak English is required to interact with guests and team members.
• Hospitality or golf-related experience is preferred.
• A strong work ethic and dependability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests as they arrive at the driving range and tee line.
• Manage tee times to keep play on schedule for members and guests.
• Assist with club cleaners and supplies, and maintain cleanliness as needed.
• Communicate regularly with the Golf Shop and Bag Drop.
• Assist golfers and provide information on course conditions and pace of play.
• Report issues to the Head Professional in a timely manner.
• Follow safety practices and company policies in all tasks.
• Maintain reliability with consistent attendance.

Antelope Hills Golf Course, located in Prescott, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Ranger! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

General Purpose:

Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused in providing superior service.

• Great Members and guests as they arrive at the driving range for their tee time.
• Manage tee times to ensure Members and guests stay on time teeing off.
• Club cleaners changed as needed with fresh water
• All trash, including back room work area, tee line and golf shop taken to dumpster as needed.
• Communicates with the Golf Shop and Bag Drop on a regular basis.
• Assists golfers when needed.
• Reports all problem situations to the Head Professional in a timely manner.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Supplies guests with scorecards, pencils and other items if needed.
• Advises guests of course conditions and expected pace of play.
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Must have a valid driver's license (if driving golf cars or driving range equipment).
• Must have a strong work ethic.
• Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.
• Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment.
• Must have strong customer/guest orientation.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be dependable.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands.
• Regularly reaches with hands and arms.
• Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells and sits.
• Able lift up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).]
• Knowledge about the game of Golf preferred.
