Job summary

Tejon Ranch is seeking a diligent Ranch Maintenance worker to perform upkeep and repairs across the ranch infrastructure. Responsibilities include maintaining fences, corrals, water systems, trees, and roads, with emphasis on safety and quality.

You will support other departments within the Ranch Operations Division as directed by the Director or VP of Ranch Operations, requiring good communication and the ability to follow detailed instructions in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Familiar with water systems.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Acetylene and electric arc welding experience desirable.
• Able to understand and follow detailed instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and apply safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Ranch maintenance and repairs including but not limited to: (Fences, Corrals, Water Systems, Trees, and Roads).
• Provide support to other departments within the Ranch Operations Division or as directed by the Director of Ranch Operations and/or Vice President of Ranch Operations.
