People, Technology & Processes is seeking a Barn Manager for Plant City, FL to oversee daily care of horses, cattle, goats, and chickens. You will supervise staff and volunteers, coordinate veterinary and farrier services, and ensure clean, safe barns and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with horses and livestock and daily care routines.
  • Ability to lead, supervise, and train diverse teams.
  • Comfort working around individuals with special needs; inclusive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily care of horses, cows, goats, and chickens including feeding, watering, turnout, grooming, and stall cleaning.
  • Maintain barns, pens, pastures, equipment, and storage areas for cleanliness and safety.
  • Coordinate veterinary visits, farrier services, vaccinations, and routine health checks.
  • Manage feed, bedding, supplements, and supply inventory; place orders and track usage.
  • Train and supervise ranch staff, volunteers, and program participants in safe handling and procedures.
  • Collaborate with program leaders to support educational and community activities.
  • Implement safety protocols to protect animals, staff, and participants.
  • Develop daily schedules, chore lists, and care logs; address facility maintenance needs.
