Job summary

Unifi Aviation LLC in Greer, SC is seeking a Ramp Agent to lead a ramp team, marshal aircraft, and perform loading/unloading of baggage and cargo. You will operate ramp equipment and may assist with cabin service while upholding safety standards and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes wing walker duties, de-icing, and ensuring secure operations on the tarmac. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, with preference for aviation experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Possess a valid Driver's License.
• One year of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of agents in ramp service duties.
• Marshal the aircraft on the ramp all arriving, departing and towed aircraft.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect the aircraft wing from equipment in the path of pushback and de-ice aircraft as required.
• Load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders or baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment like bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• May be assigned cabin service duties like servicing the aircraft, cleaning lavatories and cabin, restocking supplies, and other items.
• Monitors and enforces safe working conditions in accordance with regulatory requirements, Unifi policies and safety procedures, and all applicable laws.
• Promotes and adheres to policies concerning Safety, Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and, capabilities expected for this position.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
