Swissport is seeking a Ramp Operations Supervisor to efficiently manage and direct ramp activities, delivering high-quality services to customers at a Washington, DC area location.

The role requires at least one year of ramp service experience, strong teamwork, and excellent organizational and communication skills. The position is full-time with benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience in ramp service or related field.
• Must possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental activities with aim to reduce injuries and equipment damage.
• Supervise and manage staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain safety and performance standards at the station.
• Develop good relations with customers and airport authorities.
• Report irregularities and take appropriate action.
• Participate in internal and customer meetings; conduct daily shift briefings and safety meetings.
• Liaise with OCC regarding daily workforce requirements; perform daily/weekly audits.
• Build strong management/workforce relations and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
