Job summary

LSG Sky Chefs in Dallas, TX is hiring a Ramp Safety Clerk to monitor driver SOP compliance and support safety operations on-site.

The role trains drivers on SOPs, maintains driver files, processes identifications, and ensures inspections and IDs are current. Hours typically 4am–12:30pm, with schedule variations. Requires 3–5 years safety experience and strong Excel/Word/Outlook skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days of hire.
• 3-5 years of safety experience preferred; AO ramp experience may be substituted year for year for Safety experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and other computer applications.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with large groups - must be flexible.
• Open availability, ability to work nights and weekends as operations require.
• Usual shift will be 4am - 1230pm and schedule will be either Wed-Sun or Thurs-Mon

Responsibilities

• Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers.
• Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files.
• Processing of all Port Authority/Customs identifications.
• Ensure all State inspections, registrations and Insurance IDs for trucks are current.
• Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures.
• Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other clerical duties as assigned
