Job summary

SkyChefs in Dallas is seeking a Ramp Safety Clerk to monitor driver SOPs and support the safety-focused operations of the ramp team. The role combines administrative duties with compliance oversight and file maintenance to keep safety standards current.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain an Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days. Experience in safety and proficiency with MS Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days of hire.
• 3-5 years of safety experience preferred; AOA ramp experience may be substituted year for year for Safety experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and other computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers.
• Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files.
• Processing of all Port Authority/Customs identifications.
• Ensure all State inspections, registrations and Insurance IDs for trucks are current.
• Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures.
• Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other clerical duties as assigned.
