Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated in Sherman, Texas seeks an energetic Manufacturing Process Engineer with a passion for process improvement. This role focuses on developing and implementing efficient CMP/Wet and YE process methods, driving yield, quality, and operator training in a high-volume 300mm wafer fab.

You will support tool installations, qualify new equipment, analyze data, run process experiments, and collaborate across teams to shorten cycle times and maximize throughput.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations in a high-interrupt and rapidly ramping tool install environment.
• Rapidly qualify new tool installations as well as max out capabilities of existing toolsets to support maximum possible quality wafer movement through the CMP/Wet/YE Process tools.
• Develop and implement improved CMP/Wet and YE Process methods of manufacturing, procedures, and processes that result in improved efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality, and a relentless commitment to chase and visualize the data.
• Implement project or improvement plans for areas of responsibility including but not limited to: efficiency improvements, cost reduction or quality improvement programs, new product support and other process improvements.
• Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support the continuous flow of production and to minimize cycle time in a high volume manufacturing 300mm wafer Fab running Analog Technologies.
• Provide training to junior colleagues and process technicians. Maintain and improve training documentation and procedures.
• Identify systematic problems in either process or equipment related sources and communicating findings to the engineering staff in a continuous manner.
• Support the manufacturing ramp with execution of equipment/process startup, process experiments (SWRs).
• Participate in data analysis and problem resolution.
• Collaborate across teams/ branches to solve fab priorities, which can change quickly.
