UPS is seeking a ramp supervisor in California to oversee safety, productivity and attendance on the ramp. You will train and develop staff, manage resources, and drive a positive, team-oriented work environment.

The role emphasizes proactive coaching, quality standards and strong communication across shifts and disciplines. The position requires lifting heavy loads, flexible hours, and eligibility to operate a vehicle.

Formación

• Must lift 70 lbs / 32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsabilidades

• Supervises, trains, develops, and holds ramp employees responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing communication and cooperation.
• Implements employee personal development plans to ensure professional growth.
• Ensures all employees receive orientation, training, materials and evaluations, with proactive coaching.
• Maintains safety policies and procedures at all times.
