UPS seeks a results-driven supervisor for the ramp team in California. You will supervise, train, and develop ramp employees, ensuring safety, accuracy, productivity, and dependable customer service across shifts.

This permanent, full-time role requires strong communication, hands-on coaching, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment while enforcing company policies and safety standards, and cultivating effective working relationships with all levels of personnel.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Flexibility to work up to 5 days per week.
• Must meet local age and vehicle operation requirements.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises ramp employees and ensures safety policies are followed at all times.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment and proactive communication.
• Implements employee development plans to support ongoing growth.
• Ensures orientation, training, and regular evaluations of staff.
