Job summary

JetBlue is seeking a Ground Operations Crew member to load/unload bags, operate ground service equipment, and support ramp services. You will assist with cabin preparation, customer support, and aircraft guidance in a fast-paced outdoor airport setting.

The role requires English fluency, ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance, and willingness to work weekends and variable shifts. Training and uniforms are provided; safety is a key focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather and environments.
• Able to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 70–100 pounds occasionally with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate ground service equipment (vehicles, tugs, de-icing gear).
• Service aircraft with equipment (water trucks, GPU, tug, de-ice).
• Prepare cabin for boarding and assist with ramp duties.
• Assists Customers with special needs during boarding.
• Guide aircraft to parking locations and communicate via handheld radios.
• Handle mail/packages and respond to ad-hoc requests as needed.
• Maintain safety and adhere to policies.
