Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is seeking Ramp Agents in Idaho Falls to process baggage, load and unload aircraft, and operate conveyor belts while ensuring safety and FAA compliance. The role includes driving equipment and guiding passengers as needed, with an emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Candidates must be 18+, hold a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or GED, pass background and drug screening, and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• FAA, TSA, Port Authority, and U.S. Customs clearances may be required
• Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading aircraft and carts
• Stacking and unstacking baggage in aircraft
• Completing safety checklists for motorized equipment
• Driving and operating motorized equipment (e.g., conveyor belts)
• Reading and interpreting load sheets and checked baggage tags
• Escorting passengers and special-needs customers safely and courteously
• Ensuring compliance with SkyWest and FAA regulations and policies
