Job summary

ApplyMint is seeking a Ramp Duty Manager to oversee ramp supervisors on a shift, ensuring safety, policy adherence and effective client relations. The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires strong leadership and aviation industry knowledge.

Responsibilities include resource planning, reporting, staff mentoring, and ensuring compliance with company and airline standards. The candidate must be available for variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, and pass required background

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have current valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must excel in time management skills and require minimal supervision.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Management experience in the Airport Ground Handling business.
• Advanced Computer Skills Required.
• 3–5 years of aviation industry experience with knowledge of passenger operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ramp supervisors on their shift and be accountable for safety, resource management and policy implementation.
• Plan resource allocation for each business unit during the shift.
• Liaise with customer representatives and internal/external agencies.
• Produce routine reports and support business-unit development.
• Mentor employees and ensure compliance with company and airline standards.
