UPS is seeking a ramp supervisor to train and lead ramp employees, ensuring safety, productivity, and attendance across shifts. The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to policies while supporting continuous improvement in a dynamic logistics environment.

The ideal candidate will develop staff through personal development plans, maintain high standards of performance, and coordinate with multiple departments to optimize flow.

Formación

• Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs as required by the job environment.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to safety.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications for reporting.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-output setting.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises ramp employees, trains, develops, and holds staff accountable.
• Ensures safety policies are followed and compliance with regulations.
• Manages resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Fosters a positive team environment and cross-department collaboration.
• Implements personal development plans for department personnel.
• Provides orientation, training, and ongoing coaching for staff.
