Job summary

Alliance Ground International in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Ground Ramp Supervisor to lead shifts, supervise ramp staff, and ensure safe, efficient handling of flights, baggage, cargo, and aircraft movements. The role supports on-time departures/arrivals and adherence to airport procedures.

The position requires flexibility for 24/7 operations, weekend/holiday availability, and a strong focus on safety and reliability. Training and career advancement opportunities are provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise agents and leads on each shift to ensure all proper procedures are followed in a safe, efficient manner.
• Mentor and coach agents and leads and conduct on-the-job training.
• Guide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate.
• Transport, load and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and mail.
• Operate heavy equipment to move luggage and cargo, tow planes between gates, and refill water tanks and lavatories.
• Be on time, be prepared, and be safe.
• Assist with creating and managing the staffing schedule to ensure adequate coverage for each flight.
• Other duties as assigned: Be flexible and willing to perform any other tasks or responsibilities as required by the company to meet operational needs.
