Menzies in Melbourne, FL seeks a Ground Service Representative to support line service activities as assigned by the Ground Service Supervisor. You will coordinate with Passenger Service Agents and perform ramp duties such as baggage handling, chocking aircraft, and connecting power units to aircraft.

The role requires being 18+, holding a valid driver's license, fluent English, ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, and flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess/maintain a valid Driver’s License and other FAA required identification/seals.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Work is indoors and outdoors – must be comfortable in all weather conditions.
• Able to continuously lift, push and pull up to 70 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Comply with attendance/tardiness standards.
• Monitor Ground service activities as assigned by Ground Service Supervisor; coordinate with Passenger Service Agents.
• Perform essential ramp duties: loading/unloading baggage, choking aircraft, connecting power units, positioning passenger stairs, refueling and lavatory servicing.
• Provide air start and air-conditioning.
• Connect tow bar and tug for push back or towing aircraft.
• Operate headset/radio for communication with ground crew, flight crew and tower.
• Clean ramp area and ground equipment.
• Check in baggage as required.
• Know and comply with safety procedures.
• Assist in scheduling of employees.
