Job summary

Unifi Aviation LLC is seeking a ramp lead to oversee a team responsible for marshaling aircraft, baggage handling, and ramp duties on busy airport ramps. The role includes supervising tasks, ensuring safety, and coordinating with flight operations to maintain on-time performance.

The position may involve de-icing, use of ramp equipment, and occasional cabin service duties, with a focus on safe, efficient operations and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport/state/customs.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead a ramp team in ramp service duties.
• Marshal the aircraft on the ramp for arrivals, departures and towed aircraft.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wings from equipment.
• Load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight and company material.
• Operate ramp equipment like bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• May perform cabin service duties and restocking supplies.
• Monitor and enforce safe working conditions per regulations and company policies.
• Report safety incidents and potential hazards in line with policy.

Education
