Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking a Ramp Lead to supervise a ramp team and marshal aircraft in and out of gates, while loading/unloading baggage and performing de-icing and inspections as needed.

The role requires high school education, 18+ years old, valid credentials per airport/state requirements, and a valid driver’s license. Physical requirements apply and shifts cover AM and PM hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Six months of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ramp agents in ramp service duties.
• Marshal the aircraft on the ramp for all arrivals, departures and towed aircraft.
• Load, unload, sort and transfer baggage and company materials.
• Operate ramp equipment such as bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors and servicing vehicles.
• May be assigned cabin service duties like servicing the aircraft and restocking supplies.
• Monitor and enforce safe working conditions in accordance with regulations and Unifi policies.
