Job summary

Horizon Air is seeking a Ramp & Customer Service Agent to support above- and below-wing tasks, guest interactions, and ramp functions at the Bozeman airport. You’ll help guests with inquiries, handle baggage, and perform boarding duties while working outdoors in varied weather and a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a valid US driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a valid unexpired driver’s license issued by a US state, a US territory or the District of Columbia.
• Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system.
• Typing speed of at least 25 WPM.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to participate in paid training that may require overnight travel.
• Depending on work location, ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with travel needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions performing below wing functions.
• Performs aircraft grooming and security searches.
• Perform boarding and gate duties and announcements.
• Process and secure guest luggage and handle claims.
• Loads and offloads luggage and cargo with conveyor belts.
• May be assigned to duties of varying capacities to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
