Job summary

Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Ramp Agent (Part-Time Peak) to support peak season operations at Minneapolis, MN. You will prepare for aircraft arrivals and departures, handle baggage, operate ground service equipment, and marshal aircraft to gates.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to procedures. This seasonal, non-exempt position requires outdoor work in varying weather and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Effective communication in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to pass a continuous driving records check.
• Ability to utilize computers and mobile technology to complete trainings and perform work duties.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to be on a remote location for extended periods of time in outdoor elements.
• Pass a post-offer pre-employment background check, including airport security clearance and a fingerprint-based background and criminal history record check required by federal law.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an MSP SIDA badge with a CBP Seal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for aircraft arrival and departure by readying equipment and ensuring ramp areas are safe.
• Safely load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail to/from aircraft and baggage areas.
• Operate ground service equipment as trained to service aircraft and passengers.
• Marshal aircraft to and from gates and assist with parking.
• Service aircraft interiors and replenish supplies (lavatories, water, cleaning).
• Report safety and operational issues promptly and coordinate with teams.
