Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Inc. is seeking a Ramp Agent for our Ground Handling Department in Charlotte, NC. The role involves baggage handling, aircraft servicing, and operating service vehicles in an outdoor, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include below-the-wing servicing, loading/unloading baggage, de-icing, and teamwork to meet service goals. Training is provided; shifts include weekends, nights, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Completion of Ramp Agent training course.
• Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask.
• Preferred: prior airline or front-line customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Below-the-wing servicing of the aircraft.
• Load and unload baggage and cargo.
• Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment.
• Guide and park aircraft.
• Perform cabin maintenance tasks.
• De-ice aircraft.
• Work as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives.
