Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a motivated Ramp Agent in our Ground Handling Department. The role involves baggage handling, servicing aircraft in a fast-paced outdoor airport environment, and below-the-wing aircraft servicing.

You will work with a team to meet company goals and customer expectations, and you’ll complete the Ramp Agent training course. The position requires flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, holidays, and irregular shifts.

Qualifications

• Must complete Ramp Agent training course.
• Able to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask.
• Minimum 18 years of age; valid driver's license; clean driving record; 10-year criminal history check; drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for below-the-wing servicing of the aircraft
• Load and unload baggage and cargo
• Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment
• Guide and park aircraft
• Perform cabin maintenance tasks
• De-ice aircraft
• Work as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
