Job summary

Southwest Airlines is seeking a Ramp Agent in Paradise, Nevada, to support aircraft and baggage handling, de-icing, and overall ramp operations. This part-time position requires flexibility for early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. New hires undergo 4–6 weeks of training, followed by 6.5-hour shifts with potential overtime.

The role is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement. U.S. citizenship or work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• No formal education requirement.
• No prior experience required.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a SIDA badge and meet local airport requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly service to all Customers and maintain positive relationships.
• Load, unload, and guide aircraft, and manage baggage and cargo.
• Work outdoors in varying weather to support flight operations and ensure on-time departures.
