Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is hiring a Ramp Agent to load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail and guide aircraft to and from gates, ensuring secure, on-time ground handling in line with safety standards.

The role requires operating ground service equipment, reading load sheets, adapting to flight schedules, and working in a fast-paced team environment with flexible shifts, including nights and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Must communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to access and interpret information printed or electronic (IPads/Tablets, Computers, Mobile devices).
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Credentials (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs) as applicable.
• Aviation role requires flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail with accuracy onto aircraft.
• Operate ground service equipment (pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, baggage carts).
• Read and analyze load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels.
• Marshalling aircraft to and from gates.
• Ensure safe movement of aircraft on the ground.
• Adhere to safety protocols and airline regulations.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Lift heavy objects in varying weather conditions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and airline personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and report issues.
• Follow standard operating procedures for ramp operations.
• Adapt to changing flight schedules and priorities.
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
