Job summary

Swissport is hiring for a Ramp Agent in Morrisville, NC. You will perform under-wing ground handling, marshal aircraft, load/unload baggage and cargo, and operate ground support equipment to support timely departures and arrivals.

Excellent safety awareness and strong teamwork are essential, with flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Full-time position with health and welfare benefits and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Previous ramp experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather.
• Flexible to work on days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg).

Responsibilities

• Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure.
• Unload luggage and cargo onto carts/dollies.
• Deliver passengers' luggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor system.
• Drive and operate ground support equipment (tow tractors, belt loaders, etc.).
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and report hazards.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
• Comply with security requirements and other duties as assigned.
