Job summary

Naniq in Hawaii is seeking a Ramp Agent to ensure the safe, efficient handling of aircraft on the ramp. You will load and unload cargo, marshal aircraft, and operate ground support equipment as part of a ground handling team.

The role runs from evening to early morning hours and requires a minimum of 20 hours per week, with weekend shifts possible. A loyalty incentive program and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; team lift for heavier items.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading cargo onto/from aircraft, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure stowage.
• Marshaling and guiding aircraft using hand signals and visual aids to guide aircraft during taxiing, parking, and maneuvering.
• Operate ground support equipment such as aircraft tugs, pushback tractors, and towing vehicles.
• Perform essential services for aircraft, including refueling, lavatory servicing, water replenishment, and cabin conditioning.
• Ensure efficient handling of onload/offload on equipment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and report hazards promptly.
• Maintain communication with ramp agents, ground crew, and flight crews.
• Keep ramp area clean and free of debris and hazards.
• Assist warehouse operations after ramp is complete.
• Other duties as assigned.
