Job summary

McGee Air Services seeks a Ramp Agent to join our ground operations in the Seattle area. You will load, unload, and transport baggage and cargo, guide aircraft with hand signals, and perform safety checks in an outdoor, fast-paced setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ years of age, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass drug and background checks. Lifting up to 75 pounds is expected; varied shifts include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft.
• Sort, scan, and route checked baggage by flight destination and priority.
• Receive inbound transfer baggage and ensure timely delivery to outbound flights.
• Deliver passenger luggage and cargo to designated locations.
• Guide aircraft using hand signals and wing walking procedures.
• Service aircraft water and lavatory.
• Operate ground support equipment safely.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove waste.
• Maintain communication with flight crews and ground personnel.
• Monitor weather and take safety measures.
• Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Comply with safety and security requirements.
• Additional duties as assigned.
