Job summary

United Ground Express, Inc. is seeking team members for baggage handling and aircraft servicing at MEM Memphis International Airport, TN. The role involves lifting heavy baggage, operating ground equipment, and assisting with aircraft preparation for departures.

Candidates must be 18+, able to obtain airport badges and pass pre-employment screenings. Work shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays; overtime may be required. Airport environment and weather conditions apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs on a continuous basis.
• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English.
• Comfortable working with computers and mobile devices.
• Ability to use radio devices to communicate with teammates and crew.

Responsibilities

• Lift baggage, boxes, or cargo weighing up to 70 lbs throughout shift.
• Push/pull loaded and empty carts during loading/unloading operations.
• Ascend/descend jet-way stairs with baggage.
• Drive ground support equipment to assist aircraft positioning.
• Clean aircraft interior and service lavatories.
• Read and interpret load sheets and baggage/cargo tags.
• Prepare and secure aircraft for next flight.
• Comply with United and FAA regulations.
